Employment for Seniors Career Center 

Thank you for your interest in Employment for Seniors (EFS), Inc! We are a non-profit organization funded specifically to assist individuals age 50+ to find employment in the Central Ohio area. Our services are available at no cost to our clients.  Employment for Seniors is not the hiring company for the posted positions.  However, EFS will provide qualified applicants with the appropriate posting information.  

Take the following steps for more information on our positions.

 Initial Registration (a necessary step to continue your job search)

  • Call the Employment for Seniors office at 863-1219 (between 9:00am and 1:00pm, Monday through Friday) to schedule an appointment. 

OR

  • You can email us and we will contact you within the next three (3) business days to set up an appointment

 If you have already visited the EFS office and registered  

  •  Review our job list at least once a week.  
     

  • When you see a position that is of interest to you, click on the four digit Job ID to view the details of the position. It is important that you read the description and requirements and write down the “Job ID number”. You will need the Job ID number when you call the EFS office. You can call our office at 614/863-1219 between 9am and 1pm and we will provide you with the details on the employer and how to apply.
     

  • Or, you can hit the “How to Apply” button at the bottom of the position description, fill out the form and hit “Submit”. This information will be sent to our office and we will call you by the next business day.
     

  • When you reach our office, the counselor will provide you with detailed information on the hiring company, contact information and the application process, as well as any specific details.
